About

When I was a naïve young child and I fully understood everything about this world (I did, after all, of my own volition, start writing a book entitled “Life” at the age of 8 (but got bored after creating the table of contents, and started doodling in the rest of the pages – story of my life, really)), I used to spend a lot of time playing underneath a beautiful old lime tree.

Nothing grew underneath it, so it provided a perfectly private play area, nestled in amongst the surrounding ferns and tall grasses, sheltered from prying adult eyes (the only thing that could tear me away from there was, ironically, a tall glass of frothy chilled limeade).

I spent endless hours there, thinking about all sorts of serious things, shaded from the hot sun.  I built new worlds amongst the tree’s magical curved branches and wondered not at all about the future, for time was immaterial.

Now that I’m much older, and none the wiser, I still think about all sorts of serious things, and I still imagine better worlds.  But I want to do more …Chilled Limeade on a hot day!

And since the closest lime tree is about a half continent away, this site is now my adult lime tree.

Here, I play and climb – and fall.  And it’s not all that private anymore, because it turns out that if you want change to happen, whether in you or outside of you, you have to share and you have to exchange – the good, the bad, the ugly – freely.

So, welcome – hope you stay for a bit and keep coming back – and we can chat over a tall glass of limonadia.

Cheers,

Nadia
